For what it's worth..........
In order for Vets to be AAHA Accredited, they have to have access to be
open 24 hours or be able to refer their "clients" to an emergency facility
that is open during off hours. In our area 20 vets got together, pooled
their money and jointly opened the emergency clinic. Perhaps the set up in
Tucson is the same, talk with your vet and let them know. Often times
partners don't know what's going on because they hire some vet straight out
of school to work the overnite shifts. As a partner in a medical practice,
it is expensive to remain open and provide emergency treatment. However,
I know this doesn't make it easier when the bill comes due.
