 > WCW PREPARES FOR SPRING
 >
 > DENVER--WCW heads in Denver, Colorado, on Sunday night for their
 > annual Spring Stampede Pay Per View. The night is expected to be
 > filled with question marks on what will happen and who will work.
 >
 > The main event is a match between WCW World champion Sting and Randy
 > Savage. Savage's status for this match is still in question just days
 > before the PPV. Savage wrestled lightly on an injured knee on
 > Thursday night, but JJ Dillon told Savage on Thursday that Savage must
 > have the cast off his arm and a medical clearance to wrestle on
 > Sunday. The WCW might not allow Savage to wrestle due to the real tear
 > on the ACL, any many are questioning who could replace him.
 >
 > Giant and Roddy Piper will team to take on NWO's Hollywood Hogan and
 > Kevin Nash with a bat hung above the ring. The match is expected to be
 > filled with many twists and turns as Hogan and Nash have both stated
 > that they will attack each other if needed.
 >
 > The two main matches of the night will feature three NWO members,
 > Randy Savage, Hollywood Hogan and Kevin Nash. All three men have
 > argued who is the true leader of the NWO, and this Sunday might prove
 > who is the true leader of the anti-WCW group.
 >
 > Raven and Diamond Dallas Page will see who is the best of the two men
 > who trained together when first entering wrestling. Raven currently is
 > in possession of the US title, but Page is the rightful champion.
 > Sunday will determine who really has the rights to the US title. The
 > winner will then go on to take on undefeated Bill Goldberg on Monday
 > Nitro the following night.
 >
 > Goldberg will take his undefeated string into Sunday to take on
 > Raven's friend Saturn. Saturn has shown his interest in trying to
 > defeat Goldberg in recent weeks, and Sunday he will get that chance.
 >
 > Chris Jericho will take his Cruiserweight title against former WCW TV
 > champion Price Iaukea. The WCW is giving Iaukea this title shot due to
 > his work ethic, but is his work ethic enough to get him a title? The
 > liontamer might be the only answer to that.
 >
 > In a match just added, Lex Luger and Rick Steiner will take on Scott
 > Steiner and Buff Bagwell in the first match that will will pit the
 > Steiner brother against each other. Luger was a rumored replacement
 > for Savage, but it seems that with this match that Savage will wrestle
 > on Sunday.
 >
 > Finally, Booker T and Chris Benoit will battle it out in a no time
 > limit match for the WCW TV title. Many are pointing at this match as a
 > good possibility for Benoit to win his first belt in the WCW. Booker T
 > has been on a role since winning the belt for the first time, only
 > losing it for a few days along the way.
 >
 > The night starts at 7 p.m. ET, only on Pay per View. Check your cable
 > provider for availability.

 > FLAIR IN QUESTION. Ric Flair's status with the WCW seems to worsen as
 > more reports come in. It seems that Eric Bischoff became so outraged
 > at Flair's no-sow on Thursday Thunder last week that he told Flair
 > that Flair is "done" with the WCW.
 >
 > Bischoff has been known to ridicule other wrestler and even fire some
 > before making peace with them in the future.
 >
 > Right now Flair is still under contract with the WCW, and it seems
 > Bischoff will keep under contract so that he can not sign with the
 > WWF. Also, according to his words, it seems Flair might not appear on
 > WCW television again.
 >
 > NAME CHANGE. Due to the lawsuit over the name "Dragon," Ultimo Dragon
 > might change his name to avoid any conflict with name owner Ricky
 > Steamboat.

 > McMichael, wife of WCW wrestler Steve McMichael, could be entering the
