Under those terms and conditions, 

I vote YES.

If there are 150 people out there who agree with the group it will be far more 
than I expected and will fully support the group.

I also prefer az.sf for the group name; however, I think we need further 
clarification as to the full content of the group.  Is it strictly designed 
for clubs and fans to intereract, or is it a "general" sf topic?

I suppose we could make it "general" and then if (miracle of miracles) traffic 
warrants, it could be later (much later) split into sub groups under 'sf'.
