Think twice about using InterNetnow.

InterNetNow is an Internet Service Provider in Tempe Arizona.
I would strongly recommend using someone else as your ISP.

Here is the reason why:

On Saturday May 3, I was having problems logging into my Internet
account so I sent them an E_Mail from work. I tried logging in again
on Sunday, May 4, and everything was working fine.

On Monday, May 5, I received a call from their technical support
person. I stated that everything seemed to be ok (this was the only
time I was contacted by InternetNow). I tried logging in again that
night when I got home. It would not allow me to login again. But
this time it kept asking for a correct password. So I sent another
EMAIL to support@doitnow.com that night.

On Tuesday, May 6, I waited all day to receive a call back or a reply
to my EMAIL sent from the night before. I received NOTHING!
So I went home and tried logging in again. The same thing happened.
The system kept asking me to enter a correct password. At this point
I knew that there was something definetly wrong with my account. So I
sent them another EMAIl.

On Wednesday, May 7, I called InternetNow and spoke to Joe. He stated
that my account was suspended on May 2. When they ran my credit card
to pay for the next 3 months it was declined. I immediately asked
which credit card # I had given them to setup this account. Once Joe
and I figured out which credit card I was using I remembered that I
had reported this card lost and had received a new credit card # (the
last 4 digits were different). So I gave this new number to Joe. Joe
said thanks and I'll have you up in 15 to 20 minutes.

I then asked him why wasn't I notified? He said that the secretary
tries to reach the person at least once. However, I didn't receive
any notice that they were having a problem with my credit card and I
found it odd that they would just shut you down. So I asked him if I
could speak to his manager Jim.

So I asked Jim the same question "Why wasn't I notified?". He
proceeded to tell me that they have thousands of customers and could
not be expected to call back anyone regarding their account. When an
account is past due, they just suspend it and wait for the user to get
a hold of them. I then said, OK. This seemed reasonable to me but I
still wondered why they were in buisness then if they couldn't handle
their own accounting issues.

Here is where I cancelled my account with them:

I then asked Jim, then why wasn't any of my EMAIL responded to. He
then said that it had been once this week. I said ya, on Monday when
the technician called me when there wasn't a problem (or at least I
thought). What about the other two EMAILS sent on Monday and Tuesday
night? He then said "Don't tell me that we haven't responded to
you!". At that point I said I can't believe how you treat your
customers and he said "Only the ones who don't pay!".

The ironic thing about this is my next 3 month fee for connection was
going to be reduced by $10 due to my referral of two friends. It
sounds to me like InternetNow are the ones who didn't want to pay.

Bottom line is:
1.) I do not like how they treat their customers. Sure, if you
haven't had any problems they're fine. This way you don't have
to correspond with them. But if you do..........?
2.) They do not have any billing statements. They just expect you to
give them your credit card # and they will bill you by this
every three months. No matter what! And if there is a problem
they'll shut you off without warning or notificaton. Even an
Email reminder stating that my account would be charged and the
      amount would have been great.
3.) Do not take my word for it. Just call them up and see how your
treated on the phone. Not very professional I bet!

I will try to post this message everywhere that I possibly can. I
would think twice before choosing InternetNow over another service
provider.
