Does anyone know of a place that services under-sink reverse osmosis filters? I tried searching online but only found corporate and maintenance contract services. I bought one recently at Sears and it quickly failed. It's a self-install kit and I uninstalled it to bring it in for repairs. They claim uninstallation is destruction and will not inspect it. I need to pay a 3rd party to repair the device. If the repairs show that I did not damage the equipment, I can have Master Card reverse the purchase fee. -- Google is a pro-spamming service. I will not see your reply if you use Google.

Go to http://www.AbundantFlowWater.com - I bought a "Deluxe Aquarium" filter (75 gallons a day) for about $200, that produces water at zero parts per million with good quality DI filters after the RO filters. It's pre-assembled, and ready to go. I used to go with servicing RO systems - but found ones like the site above are far better than what Sears sells. http://www.JudgmentBuy.com

Eg, you will die if you drink distilled water. perfectly pure water is a danger. I know first hand this is bunk, but the Net is sure full of scares on pure water. As an example, I grow sprouts using "distilled" water, that has zero parts per million of dissolved solids. The sprouts love it, and grow faster than they do with tap water. My cat has been drinking the same "zero" water for 11 years and still is 100% a functioning cat.

I think the RO water is very refreshing and it's good for house plants that don't tolerate salt and mineral buildup. -- Google is a pro-spamming service. I will not see your reply if you use Google.

For fun, go on Google and search for dangers of reverse osmosis, or danger of distilled water, or anything like that, so many site - all of them selling something to add to your water or a non R/O filter store. If you keep scrolling you find doctors and such saying that's all nonsense - distilled or RO water is perfect to drink. But in a high school text book of my kid, it says drinking distilled water can cause death and kill plants. Most people I've asked think distilled water is poison!
