I have this variables:
$tm = time();
$mday = date('d', $tm);
$mon = date('m', $tm);
$year = date('Y', $tm);
How i can subtract one day?
For example: $tm = 18/05/2000 -> 17/05/2000
$tm = 01/01/2000 -> 31/12/0999
Thank You.
Jose Luis

You may subtract the day from the $tm variable as it is a representation of past seconds since January 1 1970 00:00:00 GMT So: $NUMSECONDS_PER_DAY = 3600 * 24; $tm = $tm - ($NumDays * $NUMSECONDS_PER_DAY); This should work IMHO Cengiz Sahin

Question about counter

I have my site on a server, which doesn`t support php and I have a counter
file(scounter.php3) and a file, where is the number of visitors, on
another server, which suports php. How could I use the counter? Is it
possible to do it with include or require? I added <?php require
("http://name.com/scounter.php3") ; ?>, but that doesn`t seem to work,
same with include. So probably I have to do it differently. But how?
Thanks,
Siim Einfeldt

IF the server you're on supports Apache SSI (server-side includes), you
could use:
<!-- #include virtual="http://name.com/scounter.php3" -->
Try it and see.

Thank you, I will try it out. As I see, you know php, so I have some more
questions to you. I hope you have time to answer them.
1. How could I collect more information with the counter (browser
information, etc)?
2. Is it possible to make .exe files with php as well?
3. What is the easiest way to make some kind of downloadable program, that
would stay in the system tray and pop up when email to the web based email
account arrives? What is the best language to do it? PHP?CGI?C++?
Thank you in advance,
Siim Einfeldt

I think the server supports Apache SSI, but it didn`t work.
