The group was proposed two weeks ago in balt.config. At the time, I asked
if there was a protocol in place for the discussion and creation of new
groups under the balt hierarchy, nobody seemed to know.

I'd say that enough people were convinced since many sites have decided to
add it last week and discussion has begun in the group.

So are you saying that there *is* an established protocol for newsgroup
creation under the balt hierarchy? If so, please forward the balt FAQ. You
do realize that you're two weeks late in speaking up about this though?
