The NSFNET's T1 network has been taken down, and CA*net's south-bound links have been connected to the NSFNET's T3 network. But there is a problem which is crippling access from CA*net to the NSFNET and to other countries around the world. The IBM PC/RT routers into which our south-bound links connect and which are now connected to the T3 network cannot handle the number of routes they are now receiving from the T3 network. NSFNET and CA*net staff are working diligently to try to resolve this problem. I will keep you posted. -- Mike Patterson, BCnet manager
