I have just replaced the CPU card in the Proteon at SFU Harbour Centre which connects BCnet to the rest of the Internet. Included on the card is the non-volatile RAM which holds the router's configuration information. And so, once again, I had to type the Proteon's configuration information into it, but more importantly the router shouldn't loose its configuration spontaneously. If you notice any routing problems on BCnet, or any loss of connectivity, please be sure to let me know. -- Mike Patterson, BCnet manager e-mail: BCnet@ubc.ca BITNET: USERMPAT@UBCMTSG Phone: (604) 822-3932 Fax: (604) 822-5116
