Subject: The Fourth USENIX UNIX Security Symposium

As the Chairperson for last year's USENIX UNIX Security Symposium, I would
like to thank everyone who attended. The Symposium was a success both in
program content and attendance. We had expected about 220 to 250 attendees
and were very pleased with the final count of 286. 200 people attended one
of the two tutorials presented. The Tools section of the program received
the most praise.

It is time to announce the next Symposium. Please mark your calendars, tell
your friends, and start writing that paper.

Thanks,
Ed DeHart
