Actually, in your neck of the woods (British Columbia) there is a huge backlog of doctors who want to practice in that province, especially in the Vancouver area (don't blame them; Canada's SF/Berkeley). The list is huge, ranked by: 1. B.C. practicioners who want to move into Vancouver, 2. B.C. medical school grads (including fresh interns and residents), 3. B.C. residents who went to other Canadian med schools, 4. Other canadian medical school grads, 5. Other canadian practicioners, 6. Dual Canada-US citizens and spouses (usually American) of citizens. A friend of mine fell under category 2 and 4, and by timing his application wrong he is now a junior partner in a private practice in suburban Toronto (Ontario) ... gld -- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Je me souviens ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gary L.
