International Brachytherapy

Belgian-based medical-device group International Brachytherapy said it
started research into a second brachytherapy  cancer treatment.
Brachytherapy  refers to irradiation within the body via minute implants as
opposed to external beams.  Its uses include the treatment of cancer.  IBt
said the "iode-125" treatment should more than double the market reached by
IBt.

IBt is traded at about 7000 BEF on Brussels second market.
