Time and time and time again, I have reported phone line problems; the Telco tells me everything checks out fine but, an hour or two later, the problem magically disappears. It's happened to me just too many times now. I also recommend that you lie and report the issue as a FAX problem. Telco's hate modems and will just give you a long lecture on how they don't guarentee more than 1.25 bits per second. OTOH, fax machines don't incorporate modems do they? :-) -- |~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| | Malcolm Hoar "The more I practice, the luckier I get". | | malch@malch.com Gary Player. | | http://www.malch.com/ Shpx gur PQN. | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
