There have been numerous announcements regarding the changes in
dialup numbers. There were also many posts regarding the fact that theses
new dialups would not support static IPs.

I guess it's been so long ago that many have forgotten the issue.

As far as preparations for the end of a particular access number, just
browse to:

  http://support.best.com/

and click on the "Local Access Numbers" link.

You may have lost a Mt View number, but it's being replaced by local
access numbers most everywhere in the country.
