First, eve since Pleasanton has gone up, there hasnt been a major failure there until now, which isn't bad at all. Second, I am dialed into fremont at 19200 and I haven't had any problems, so as far as I can tell, the POP is up. It may be a bit busy since Pleasanton is down....but if youwait long enough, you will get in. So, really, you should have been able to call pleasanton and use everything fairly well exept for tonight. I don't think that that is bad at all. And if you really needed to access your account, you could have tried Berkeley or Walnut Creek (and I know Walnut Creek is doing well right now) instead of going right to other area codes. >I would argue that I shouldn't have to. You (BEST) have prevented me from >doing what you advertise (allowing me to access the internet). I not only >expect, but I DEMAND a prompt response on how you will be making restitution >to your Fremont, Hayward, Pleasanton customers! pleasanton has been up for about 3 weeks now if my memory serves me correct. I wouldnt start complaining if Pac Bell screwed up for one night..... --Jamil jamilv@best.com
