Hello there, In answer to your questions: I'm from Holland where about 20 companies provide Internet service. The average price differs a lot. The dutch telecom started with a subscription of 15 USD per month for 5 or 6 hours per month plus phonecosts. My connection gives me SLIP, PPP, Telnet, FTP and WWW access. I have no limits the only problem is that I have to call Amsterdam (about 3 USD p/hour). My provider, XS4ALL, has about 160 ports and I think the max speed is 28K8. For all this I pay ~20 USD p/month.
