That's OK--it just happened that way.  We were all having our discussions re:
the CHANGE proposal with Kyle and the AECT Board, and there was some limited
discussion during (literally!) FINAL Assembly but the first I believe most
AECT members heard was when the possibility of CHANGE remaining a division
was raised--so it's quite understandable that a lot of folks think that's
what we were asking for.

Now I'm not denying that this has been discussed--or that many of us DO think
it was at least worthy of dicussion--but throughout that discussion we have
been planning for support of the course of action the Board has laid out.
