The University of Toledo, Department of Educational
Leadership announces the following two openings in the
Educational Administration and Supervision Program.


POSITION 1:

One position in Educational Administration & Supervision with
appointment at the advanced assistant/associate professor
level.

Responsibilities:
teaching in one of the following areas: (a) Leadership of
School Districts, (b) Technical Competencies of School
Leaders, or (c) Professional Development of School Leaders;
establishing and maintaining a research agenda linked to the
teaching area; advising graduate students in degree and
license programs; chairing theses/projects/dissertations;
maintaining relations with school leaders.

Required qualifications:
Doctorate in EDAS or closely related field; Evidence of
successful teaching at the university level in courses for
the area for which they are applying; chairing of theses,
projects, and dissertations; an established research agenda
in the teaching area selected; knowledge and work with ISSLC
standards; evidence of publication and presentation in
national refereed/competitive journals/associations. Evidence
of successful public school administration/leadership;
interpersonal and team work skills.

Preferred Background:
Superintendency and/or central office administration
experience; evidence of leadership in state, regional,
national school leadership organizations; focus of efforts on
urban school leadership.
