It's real simple, the original Spammer posted a binary file via a remailer. 
"Tripper" then claimed you can't post binaries via remailers, when it was 
pointed out the original Spammer did post a binary "tripper" then tried to 
explain that only small binaries can be posted.  When I pointed out that 
commercial remailers let people post large binaries he refused to 
acknowledge their existence.  Now you want to say it's not 100% fool-proof.

The money trail is all that exists, with no logs it is still extremely 
difficult to prove that a particular post came from a particular computer.

The truth is I don't care.  When people Spam me (either via email or 
Usenet), I will try to stop it.

For remailers helping the Spammers or the Spammers direct I will try to stop 
their services (report to ISP, their domain registrar, law enforcement, what 
ever I can think of).

Hopefully everyone here will do their best to stop Spammers and the 
remailers that hide them.

It is my hope that ISP's will get together and setup filters to block both 
Spammers and remailers via IP addresses, this will greatly improve the 
internet for everyone.
