Thanks very much Sophy Ly!! Just send the e-mail off to
Marie-Line. Where are you, if you're not in Montreal? Hope you're
more than well. Did anything come up after the VOA conference,
or did people blow hot air?
Best of greetings,
Antje

Dear Antje,

A quick response to your question about Benin.

Legislation opened up for communty radio in November 97.
By the end of 97, there were about 4 or 5 community radios on air
or as
projects. I don't know of today.

You may want to contact one AMARC member to find out, that is
the Dassa
Zoume community radio.

if you contact AMARC head office (Marie-Line
amarcho@amarc.org) they could
give you their email contact.

I am not in Montreal currently and cannot provide more information
unfortunately.

good luck

Sophie Ly
