I have just joined your list and I would like to introduce myself. My name
is Tom Lodge and I was a disc jockey on the British pirate radio station
called Radio Caroline from 1964 to 1968. We had 23 million listeners and
made it possible for such groups as the Rolling Stones, the Who, the Animals
to gain exposure, because government radio BBC and Luxembourg wouldn't play
them. We were on a ship off the coast of England in International waters.
Therefore the British government couldn't touch us. I am currently writing
a book about this saga called "The Ship that Rocked the World" and I have
someone writing a screen play for a movie. BUT HERE IS WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO
ASK YOUR HELP FOR. If you are interested I would like to fax or mail you
information about a new global grassroots radio station that I am NOW
involved with called RADIO ONE EARTH. We are looking for people all over the
world to create mini audio productions called SOUND PICTURES. This does not
take previous experience. It is a platform for you to express your ideas,
creativity and concerns. If you send me a fax number or and address, I'll
send you details about the production of SOUND PICTURES for ONE EARTH RADIO.
 Please contact me by e-mail at: purno@aol.com Or: (415) 461 0999 Or 218
North Almenar Drive, Greenbrae, CA 94904, USA. Until ONE EARTH RADIO starts
broadcasting in the spring your productions will be broadcast on Radio KPFA,
Berkeley, CA, which is also part of a US coast to coast net work called
Pacifica Network.
Yours Purno (Tom Lodge)
