Apologies if this is an old chestnut.  I've only recently joined the
list.

A colleague here has a problem that Endnote does not seem to pick up
references in footnotes (on PC using Word Perfect).  I wonder if perhaps
it's mostly used by scientists who think that footnotes are the same
thing as references?  Maybe the name "Endnote" suggests that anyway?
Any suggestions?
