I know for certain that Niles & Associates have *NOT* been asleep!!  Keep
in mind the ever-growing number of word porcessors out there, and that
significant time is needed to make EndNote work with each and every one.
Such new releases are certainly considered "features" by those using a
word processor not currently supported, but probably not by people using
MacWrite since 1984 and who have no interest in using other word processors.

Then, too, the Macintosh System software keeps changing up to 4 times a year.
You don't think System 7.1 compatibility (e.g., world script) takes effort?
And I understand that on the PC side, you have OS/2, Windows, Windows/NT,
DR-DOS, GODOS (Good ol' DOS :-), and IBM is releasing a new DOS of their own.
Making Endnote Plus work under all these different operating systems
correctly should certainly be considered a feature.

EndNote Plus has an execellent feature set and user interface.  That's not
to say more features aren't needed!  It's just that Niles & Assoc. must
put first things first.  It makes obvious sense to me to spend time
increasing the number of systems and word processors you can support, as
this will increase your potential market more than by added a better
style definition language.  (Something I'd really like too see! :-)
