To endnote users

First question:
Discussion here has prompted me to wonder if I've got the most recent
version of Endnote for MS-Dos. I purchased this program in this year,
but I wonder if I should have a patch or some sort of update.

Second question:
I recently decided to switch from WPWin6.0 back to WP5.1+ (speed issues);
however, I cannot get the pop-up TSR to work in WP5.1+ without corrupted
characters bordering and inside the pop-up. Tonight I wasn't able to get
the pop-up to come up in WP5.1+ at all. Previously I had used Endnote in
a window in Windows, to no ill-effect. As yet, I've not formatted a
paper using Endnote. Now that I've decided what word processor I want to
use (I'm writing my dissertation), I'm going to need Endnote to work
properly.

Why isn't the popup working in WP5.1+? Do I need an update
.exe or what?

Any help is graciously accepted!

Thanks much,
