The solution is:
To open a "PC-lib" on a Mac, press the <SHIFT> key (and keep it pressed)
while clicking your EndNote program (if EndNote is already opened, press
<SHIFT> while choosing OPEN under File menu). Choose the PC-floppy containing
the PC-lib and open it (of course you need a thing like DOS-mounter on your
Mac). By the way, this procedure is explained in the EndNote manuals.
To open a "Mac-lib" on a PC, you only need a PC-formatted floppy with your
Mac-lib on it. Start EndNote on your PC emd there you go... just choose for
opening the Mac-lib.
This full-grade compatibility of EndNote between Mac en PC was the major
reason for us to 'promote' the use EndNote to our patrons, using both
platforms all over the place.

Good point, often share the same feeling. Maybe one should simply start the
header of a message with Mac, PC, or Mac/PC. Think about it, listowner!!

By the way, this list is one of the best and the only one I'm still
subscribed to since my start on internet.
