I have an "Introduction to Telnet/FTP" workshop that I offer each
semester. I mostly teach the Telnet command, and I just *talk* about
how to use FTP. I show overheads of what one would encounter when
FTP'ing to a given site. I do this for one reason: I was told that
it is not proper "netiquette" to FTP to ANY site during their prime
hours. But I have been reading a lot of comments about the best way
to handle the above-mentioned problems. Do you net-trainers just
still teach your workshops during the day? Does anyone know of a site
that doesn't mind if network users FTP during the middle of the day?

If anyone knows of such a site, please let me know. I would love to
be able to have my workshop participants actually FTP while I'm able
to help them.
