New Gopher Site

The ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation (ERIC/AE; formerly
called the ERIC Clearinghouse on Tests and Measurements), and the
Department of Education at The Catholic University of America, Washington,
DC are please to announce that their new Gopher Service went on-line on
November 15, 1993.

The Service hopes to provide one-stop shopping for information about
educational and psychological testing. It currently features a
comprehensive collection of full text articles about the latest in
alternative assessment. In cooperation with the Educational Testing Service
in Princeton, NJ, ERIC/AE will be soon also host the ETS test collection
database. You will be able to search abstracts and descriptions of over
9,700 commercial and non-commercial tests.

The Gopher site can be reached directly at "GOPHER.CUA.EDU". We are under
Special Resources. You can also reach the Catholic University Gopher
working your way down the world North America/USA/Washington, DC/The
Catholic University. Please see what we have and give us your comments. Our
