I appreciate your choice of analogy to facing the lions in this
comparison and find consistency in these statements with your "Workers
have a meagre, unkept lunchroom" statement which follows. Still, I
suggest that you may wish to reconsider the harsh criticism of the GM
organizational culture based on the one plant which you had the
apparent misfortune to have known. I believe the British had a line
about a "stiff, upper lip" which, despite the Boxer Rebellion, may
have more direct bearing on GM / PRC ventures than you may desire to
accomodate owing to your experience. That is, unless you believe the
tree network in which we are born to our positions, pre-destined by
ancestry, ala, Huxley's "Brave New World," etc. is the correct choice.
I believe the glow and warmth of the "diffusional networks" which have
developed in the wider horizons of the west allow us to better fulfill
our capabilities in the light of our blessings. I believe we may wish
to consider a less self-centered concern from inside when we admonish
the entirety of the GM organizational structure from this basis.
Passivity need not be opposed to strength, nor inept at resistance.

In solidarity,
