Before flailing yourself, check if the complining people are speaking their true concerns. Maybe being left out of email is not wht the problem is. For example, once upon a time a student appraoched me, and said I was not available when he needed me. He requested my time 3 times running, never when I could be available. Finally, my dept head suggested I put up a sign-up sheet (which I hate). I put up a weekly schedule, on which a student could put their initials, and get that hour. I gave them shots at every hour I was not previously busy. Every. The student again requested my time, and I said, put your initials on the sheet on my door, and it's yours. I had to remind him twice it was there for him to use. Student never _once_ signed up. Otehrs took advantage of it, so I keep the system, but the originator of the problem was never there. And didn't complain to me again, either. Do a spot check of the louder voices, see just what it i9s they want. Maybve they want to feel kept in the loop. Would a direct email to them satisfy better than a Bb?
