XXVI International Quality Congress,
Mexico City, October 7 to 10, 1998.

Theme: "Latin America, United through Quality"

Greetings! As the Co-Chair for IMECCA's Technical programs relating to
quality in the construction industry, I extend an invitation for your
participation.

The opportunities for your participation include:

1. Submit an abstract, and then present the paper during the special design
and construction industry track/stream dealing with the application of ISO
9000, ISO 14000, TQM, CQI, Business Process Change, QA/QC Techniques; all
within the design and construction industry.; and
2. Participate in a facilitated construction industry panel.

The design & construction industry track/stream papers should consider one
or more of the following topic applications:  Partnering, Design-Build,
Project Management Quality Systems, and related issues for the public or
private sectors.

IMECCA  is committed to the mission of bringing together experts in
application of the quality field in order to exchange knowledge and ideas,
insights that will promote the economic  value of the quality technologies.
This invitation is evidence of  IMECCA's growing recognition of developing
market-specific case studies and experiences, for the good of all.
