> SCRIPT myfile (DEVICE(PSA) PSOUT(EBCDIC) PROF(DSMPROF3) FILE(myfile) There's documentation somewhere that says that "PSOUT(EBCDIC)" is purely ornamental; to get usable PS, you must say (or default) "PSOUT(ASCII)". Then, you need a sufficiently recent maintenance level of LPR that it accepts the "BINARY" option. Then, it works to LPR to a LaserJet IIIsi. It doesn't work with our LaserWriter, but since it works with the LaserJet, I tend to blame the LaserWriter rather than DCF or LPR. Mail me if you can't find the APAR for the BINARY option. The failure if "PSOUT(EBCDIC)" is a major violation of the 7-bit clean recommendation of the Adobe PostScript Language Reference. I intend to submit remedying this as a requirement to SHARE/GUIDE soon. Good luck, gil
