For the language itself and its philosophy, you shopuld of course read SIMULA BEGIN, G. Birtwistle, O-J Dahl, B Myrhaug, K Nygaard, Pub. Studentlitteratur (Swededn) or Chartwell Bratt (UK/USA) More recent and up to date (but chapter on text has some errors) An Introduction to Programming with SIMULA, R.J. Pooley, Pub. Blackwell Scientific (1986) The SIMULA language is a national standard in several countries and the standard is published by the Swedish Standards organisation. If you have particular interests let me know. I can also let you know about compilers etc. There is a society for those interested in SIMULA, called the Association of SIMULA Users. Send mail to hio@cadcam.kth.se Rob Pooley
