My experience with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Services is quite
the opposite, and that experience includes the Andover disaster.
I have had contact with the Red Cross on about 4-5 tornado damage surveys
in Oklahoma and Kansas, and each and every time, they offered us
*free* food and drink. I felt uncomfortable about accepting this,
and explained to them that the free services should be for the
storm victims and relief workers, but they insisted on being generous.
I have since duly recompensed their selflessness with a generous donation
to their organization for the last 6 years.
