Just out of curiosity, some folks asked if it was legal. It was interesting to learn that it is NOT a violation of any FCC rule for anyone (broadcast, public service, land-mobile service,--- general member of the public--- or whoever) to record an amateur transmission and use it for any purpose whatsoever (I assume this means legal purpose), including to "rebroadcast" it. It may be done "live", or it may be taped and played later. Furthermore, the rebroadcaster need not obtain permission of the amateur radio license holder nor any of the participants to retransmit signals from the amateur service. Interesting, huh?
