ADMINISTRIVIA: Shirts!

Bill "I Carry The American Express Card" Dickson and I have been chatting,
recently, and in this continued chat, an interesting concept has made its
slow and weary way up from the depths towards the light of day. (If you
happen to have a tape, record, or CD or Blue Oyster Cult's _Godzilla_, put
it on now.)

The concept: A Superguy T-shirt.

The details: We can probably do a very nice, front-and-back, three-color
t-shirt for something on the order of $15-$20 dollars (probably closer to
$15 than $20, but I'm being cautious.) If I recall previous research
correctly, we'd need a minimum order of 24 shirts from the company I'd use
to generate the shirts. They do an excellent job; very high quality
screens, high-quality cotton shirts shirts(I've got one from them; these
are not the micrometer-thick cheapo shirts that you sometimes see,) and
they're pretty doggone fast, so I'd rather use them than another, possibly
slower and/or lower-quality company.

I'm not entirely sure what we'd have _on_ these shirts as yet; I'd like to
get a Certain Author Who Is Also An Artist to do a "group shot" of maybe
six or seven of the more representative Superguy characters(I dunno who
these'd be; just pulling names out of my butt, how about Andy Awesome,
Dangerousman, Trashman, Rad, Ginsu World Class, and perhaps the Punk,) but
I haven't actually spoken to him yet. (Hello, Dom!) And, since I _haven't_
spoken with him about this yet, this may not be possible.

At any rate, we'd have some sort of art on the back, possibly with some
text ("SUPERGUY@UCF1CM.CC.UCF.EDU", perhaps), and a Superguy logo on the
front. I'd probably be the one doing the logos, I guess...(if you'd like to
see some of my other work, check out the Superguy web page; several logos
of mine appear there.)

As I said above, we'd need about 24 shirts, and I'd be willing to eat the
cost of a couple for stock purposes (someone shows up later, wants a shirt,
that sort of thing,) so we'd need a firm commitment for about twenty shirts
before I'd go to the shirt shop.

Anybody interested?

(If you are, send email to r.furr@genie.geis.com; I'll take responses to
this account, but it'd be better for me to take 'em at my GEnie account.)
