THE TIME: 18:31, or 6:31 PM
THE PLACE: Above MassiCity Cardium, (known now as Sarajevo, Bosnia) near the
                border between MassiSpace and Confed Space.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=

The AirSkimmer slipped away from the Massi ship with a kick of speed from
the Ion engines, and fired all port lasers. The small Massi fighter's
shields sputtered out, and Erin sent a green disrupter pulse into the ship,
cutting its weapons systems off, and sent the ship slowly hovering to the
ground.

"That was a close one", Heather said. "I could just feel the heat from
those lasers..."

"Oh, come on. Those weren't even close!", Erin said. "And even if they
were, I can handle those MassiJets..."

"Quit it, you two," said Jen. "Let's just get this over with..."

Stacey whined. "Oh, I wish we didn't hafta do this..."

"Well, we do. I wish they'd change it too, but this is the way it is..."
Jen replied. She hit a button, and Admiral Chad Lockhurt appeared on the
screen. Jen groaned.

"Who are you?" he said with a dazed, empty look.

Jen pointed downward. On the Admiral's screen there were 3 lines of
information about who was calling him, and from where. "Oh, he said. Whadda
ya want?"

"We just finished our encounter with the Massi and are going to pick up
Jack and Stacey." Jen reported, gritting her teeth.

"Oh. Right-o." He blinked out.

The entire team exhaled. "Whew! I HATE that," Heather said. Jen strode
through the door to the cockpit and flew the 3 ladies to SkyBase Risa 1.

Stacey put her arm around Jack, and kissed him passionatly. "I love you,"
she said, to which he replied, "I know." She laughed and hit him with a
pillow.

The room they were in was huge and white. Everything was white, including
the flowers. The white was so blindingly white that it hurt and made the
cones in thier eyes say "What's the point?" and the rods feel like thier
job became stupid and useless.

Stacey and Jack kissed again. They had loved thier vacation at Risa 1, but
now Jen and Heather and Erin were coming to pick them up. Unfortunatly,
they had a mission in Massi airspace, and that was dangerous. They hoped
that the team was okay...

The small fighter dropped out of the clouds at attack speed and opened fire
on the AirSkimmer 'Century'. Jen threw the Skimmer into an evasive roll,
but the figter gained on them, firing its bolts of green energy, crackling
on the blue shield web...

THE DATE: December 27, 1999
THE TIME: 19:02, or 7:02 PM
THE PLACE: Times Square, New York City, New York, USA, Earth, Sol, Western
                Spiral (Orion) Arm, Milky Way, 000SUPERGUY

The 'Century' crashed in the middle of Times Square, sending cars flying
everywhere. The road buckled under the stress of the durantium hull of the
AirSkimmer. The people, as usual, found this to be an ordinary event in the
Superguy Multiverse, due to the multitude of odd things that happen to
them. The three occupants were in no way injured, but  the second they
stepped out of the 'Century', it vanished.
