Time: 9:34pm August 7th, 1966
Place: Kathy Guttery's House, Denver, Colorado, USA, Earth, Sol system,
Milky Way galaxy, The Universe. <Specific enough? :)>

"Oh, that was a party!" Kathy said to Linda. Sweeping up the floor.
"Yeah, it was a great baby shower. The only thing I hate about parties
is cleaning up afterwards." Linda said, "now if we could just see the
floor under these," pointing to their bulging wombs, "maybe we could see
the floor, and what we are sweeping." Both started to laugh.
The baby shower their friends threw was something else. There was baby
cakes and party favors. Little baby seats, spoons, forks, everything was
baby sized. They received many cool gifts, including a couple neat,
little baby strollers.
After awhile, Linda looked at her watch, "Looks like we better get you
home."
"Yep. Hope you don't mind taking me?"
"Naw, I don't mind. Can't sleep anyways, I miss Mike." Linda said,
taking both brooms and setting them in the pantry.
"I know what you mean, I miss Dave, too. And worse off, we might
deliver any day now." Kathy said, picking up her presents.
"Yeah, but they should be back from the business trip tomorrow. Unless
the Senator has them do something else." Linda responded in a mad tone.
She never did like how the Senator treated her husband. He was always
making Mike and Dave do the jobs that he should do. But as the senator's
assistants, they had to do what the Senator said. Dave was going to run
for Senator the following year, so he could get away from the Senator,
yet stay in politics.
They were gone on some stupid trip to Jersey, trying to raise funds for
the Senator's race next year. She thought it was strange how her husband
was out there raising money for the person who he was going to run
against.
But how can you call 'it' a person. To be a person, you had to be
human, which the Senator obviously wasn't. Since humans had feelings and
emotions. He didn't have any feelings for anybody or anything, none what
so ever. All he cared about was making money from the lobbyists, and
making sure his laws in the senate passed.
Anyways, nobody would try to stop him, or his fellow senators that
acted and felt the same on issues as him. They were called the Olys, and
no dirt could be dug up on them, and even if someone could find dirt
they wouldn't dare bring it up. They had ways of dealing with people
that got in their way.
But of course this was all speculation. The accusations against them
could never be tracked back to any of them. The police had tried many
times, but never accomplished getting a warrant.
Linda and Kathy headed for the door, "After you." Said Linda.
        "Thank you." Kathy nodded.

Time: 9:56pm August 7th, 1966
Place: I-25, between Denver and Castle Rock

The drive to Castle Rock, where Linda lived, was quiet. Both ladies
thinking about their husbands and how they missed them, wondering if
they would have their husbands back tomorrow.
Staring out across the rag weed filled plains, they occasionally looked
up to the sky.
Kathy was looking up at a strange star in the sky. Unlike the other
stars, this one was a really bright aqua color. It seemed to be getting
bigger and bigger. Kathy thought her eyes were playing tricks on her, so
she blinked a couple times, rubbing her eyes with her fingers. She was
totally amazed at the sight. It was real!
"Wow! Look at that!!!" Kathy screamed.
"Look at what???" Linda said keeping her eye on the road, not yet
seeing the phenomenon in the sky.
"That!!!" Kathy said, pointing to the ever growing dot of light.
Searching the sky, Linda finally saw the strange sight, and slammed on
the brakes, fishtailing to a screeching halt. The thing slowly hovered
from high in the sky to stop right in front of them. All the while the
two expecting women waited, expecting to get scorched. But the light
just hung there.
It reminded Kathy of one of those outerspace creature movies she had
seen at the drive-ins with Dave. All the plots of the movies rushed
through her mind, at lightning fast speed. The space creatures came to
either destroy the earth, take women to be slaves, or to do wild and
crazy experiments. Then she realized what all of the victims of those
movies didn't do...
"What are we waiting for???" Kathy asked still staring at the light.
"Ummm, yeah. Right..." Linda slowly mumbled, but didn't do anything.
She was transfixed on the light, not really aware of her surroundings.
"Linda!!!" Kathy turned her head quickly to look at her friend. Linda
looked as if she was under some kind of trance.
Kathy knew they didn't have much time, at least the movie victims
didn't. She started shaking Linda, "Hey! Snap out of it!" But Linda
didn't budge. Kathy knew she had to do something, so she shoved the car
into reverse. She looked backwards to make sure there was nothing behind
them, and slammed her foot on the gas pedal. The car peeled out
backwards, and started turning to the left. Kathy grabbed the wheel and
straightened out the car's path.
She turned around to see if the object was following them, but it just
floated there. She looked back behind the retreating car again, and was
surprised by a large cow standing the middle of the road. She swerved
right, but more than she should have with the current speed. This caused
the car to roll a couple times. But before even the first roll occurred,
she was surrounded by a bright red light, then everything went black.

Kathy felt a throbbing pain on her stomach. Realizing her eyes were
closed, she opened them. A great light beamed back at her, seeming to
tell her to close her eyes. She did, but blinked her eyes quickly,
adjusting them to the bright light.
"Ihs wg uakinp se." A voice said. Kathy wondered where it came from. So
she tried to turn her head to look around, but couldn't. Her head seemed
to be strapped to the table she was lying on.
"Hd bar hettey uurrp we. Ihis tg wakiny tao log tons." A second voice
said. She couldn't recognize the language. Besides that, both voices
seemed to be very low and had a growling quality to them.
Beside the light, she could see some kind of of equipment. It was a
shining blue-green apparatus, with needles sticking out from arms. It
looked just like the movies she had seen. Seeing this, it hit her that
this was all really happening to her! She was just like the victims, but
for one difference, this was real.
Or was it? She then wondered if this was just a movie lot that her
friend and her had stumbled upon.
Suddenly, a red light shone from where the pain was on her stomach
area. And just as quickly she felt a lot lighter. There was no
technology that could do that kind of movie magic; at least none that
she knew of.
"Hur uer anden pgait." The second voice said. She went black again,
wondering what all just occurred, who these people were, and where the
heck she was.

Herm Crankshaw had been sitting in this secret meeting room for more
than an hour, waiting for Z to show up. Z was almost never late to these
things. The only time he was, according to the guys who had been here
longer, was when something went wrong. And that hadn't happened yet, at
least not for the length of time Herm had been on this Project.
Herm looked at the clock, 8:35pm. 'Geez, is he ever gonna get here? I
need to report in to Cronus in 25 minutes, or risk getting taken away
from this Project.' He thought as he looked around the room, at the two
other people in the small, cramped room.
Herac Elz, president of the United States. He has been in the Project
for over 30 years. At seeing his title, many outsiders of the Project
might think he was the head huncho. But there can be nothing further
from the truth. He followed the orders of Z, who follows Cronus. He,
unlike Herm, had to only report to Cronus every week, instead of every
day. But this was mainly because of his age.
Demi Terr, Chairperson of the house of representatives. She has been on
many Projects. Ultimately ending up on this one, and has been here for
40 years now. She is the real head figure. Only Z has more power on this
Project than her.
And him, Herm Crankshaw, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He was
the 'baby' of the group, only being on the Project for a little under
two months. He was basically here to give Z and Cronus USA Military
Intelligence and such. Unlike the others, who are here to prepare the
way.
The door creaked open, and in walked Z. A tall, strong looking man.
Strong, both physically and in presence. He sent a sense of command to
all he met, and that aura about him really affected Herm. He was able to
deal with the worst military advisor
