I'm currently porting an application to Korean and Japanese,
 and later others...
I''m using HP's NLS packages, and the various fonts for each locale.
I'm using X11R5 and Motif 1.2 as foundation libraries.

My understanding of Unicode is it contains character encodings for *all*
the languages. Is it still in it's infancy? Is it ready and available
for public consumption? Does this mean instead of using various
encodings per locale I would only need one?

Then how do the fontsets work?

Any elucidation greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for any response,
Carole Turney
