Firstly, I apologise, I meant temporary table.

Okay. If you're using SQL Server 7/2000 (which is mainly what I deal with),
it would go a little like this.

Assume table A (Seq int, [Name] varchar)
Assume table B like table A

Basically create a temporary table using a # symbol in front that looks like
A (or B).

This temporary table is connection based ie connection X will not see
connection Y's temporary tables, though you may define a global temporary
table available to all connections using a double ##.

After creating the temporary table, run an insert to put all rows from A and
all rows from B into the temp table. Now run a select on the temp table
and... _woohoo_ !! It works!

Remeber, this methods nice cause all the works done on the server :)
