How can I programmatically test a TADOQuery connection in a way that will not cause my app to hang while testing? If I use TADOQuery->Open(), I have to wait for the server to time out. What I'm looking for is a quick check of the connection, the same as the 'Test Connection' button the the Connection String setup dialog. TIA, Mike
