I'm trying to access an access97 database, but I have problems to define an alias with the BDE-Administrator. I used default values and added the path to the access-database. If I try to connect to the database I get a MsgBox (user, ID) but the access database is not protected. After clicking OK (without inputs) I get an Error "incorrekt Parameters". Access97 is installed local on my computer, I use BCB 3. what is wrong??? christian
