I'm trying to load a .sql file using the LoadFromFile method. I've checked everything (file presence, connection string, and any kind of data that could be overwriting it) Nothing seems out of order. Is it possible that this method has an error in it? EX: TADOQuery *padoQry = new TADOQuery( NULL ); padoQry->SQL->Clear(); padoQry->SQL->LoadFromFile( FileName ); padoQry->SQL->Text is equal to "??????\r\n" ????????? it is supposed to be " SELECT * FROM Table \r\n"

Hi Stephane, Theres no error with this method, just you having a little misunderstanding... The -->LoadFromFile(...) method is for reading in dataset that have been previously saved in XML or Borland Proprietary (ADTG) formats . Read the C++ help section on using the TADODataSet->SaveToFile(...) and TADODataSet->LoadFromFile(...).
