FYI - At design time, if I want to set the value of an input param that is a string type equal to a number with leading zero's, the field automatically treats the value like a number and not a string. For example, the value "00001124" is automatically changed to "1124" before being passed to the stored procedure. The only way for me to run the stored procedure correctly at design time is to set my field up as a fixed character type on the back end and then pass in my parameter like "00001124x" knowing that the "x" will be truncated on the back end while the VCL will treat the value like a string on the front end.
