Try the following:

In the Client tier,all updates must be applied by calling
TClientDataSet method "ApplyUpdates()",
So,you can write event handlers for a ClientDataSet that include
AfterInsert,AfterDelete,AfterEdit etc.

void __fastcall TForm1::ClientDataSet1AfterInsert(TDataSet *DataSet)
{
  try
  {
     ClientDataSet1->ApplyUpdates(-1); /*Apply all updates*/
  }
  catch(...)
  {
    ..... Error handle.....
  }
}
