Firstly, apologies if this appears more than once because I 
posted it on google and it never appeared.

I am trying to create an AppServer (exe, multiuse) that can 
process more than 1 client request at the same time.  So, if 
client 1 issues a long command then client 2 doesn't have to 
wait until the first request has finished before their request 
begins.  I have an EXE AppServer that does just that.  

I have scoured the groups and have come to the conclusion that
this behavior is a result of creating an EXE AppServer rather 
than a DLL AppServer.  The EXE only has 1 main thread and 
therefore requests are processed synchronously.  A very simple 
DLL AppServer process multiple long requests at the same time.

1) Is this a correct conclusion?

2) Is there an easy way to convert an EXE AppServer (>20000 lines
of code) into a DLL AppServer?

3) Because the AppServer will no longer be visible through
dcomcnfg, how do I control the security of the DLL?

4) Do I need to (or must I) place the DLL AppServer into MTS so 
that MTS becomes the surrogate?  If I don't use MTS, how else 
will the DLL be executed?

5) Is there a C++ Builder version of the Delphi 
TThreadedClassFactory code? which seems to solve all of my 
problems apart from the fact that it only works with Delphi.

6) I have seen the posts from Mark (Brown?) detailing how to
amend the ATL headers and code, but, they were quite a while ago 
and I don't think they apply to Builder 5.

Any help greatly appreciated.
