I wish to connect a application written in C++Builder 5 Entr. with a
Database that reside in the web hosting. This database is InterBase 6 for
Linux. (The web site is in Linux Server).

Can I connect like a LAN, with TCP/IP if I know the name server of my web
hosting?. I want to update the Database with a few records of a different
locations.
