Is it possible to create an application using C++Builder 4.0 to make use of the Japanese global IME in the same way IE6 allows the IME to be used for entering Japanese text in webpages on western versions of Win98? For example, for entering/displaying japanese text in to a TMemo component or TEdit component. I've installed the MS IE6 add-on to display and enter Japanese text, but was curious if it was possible to link up to this system from within my own applications. I looked around in the MS SDK reference, but the help seems to suggest it should activate anyway for an application if its available since its handled by the system (doesn't seem to be the case under western win98). For example, something that I'd like to try would be a Japanese IME capable chat client for use with western windows 98, but without being able to hook up to the IME, it would make things difficult to say the least. I'm working under win98 and using BCB 4.0 Pro. Thanks for any advice or information, Ob1
