Subject : The app.EXE file is linked to missing export
SHELL32.DLL:SHBrowseForFolderW

Since I have implemented Unicode support in my app the app doesn't start in
Win95 anymore.
(Win98, ME is OK but NOT with Win95)

Although I never use Unicode functions in case of Win95
e.g. :
if (OSInfo.dwPlatformId >= VER_PLATFORM_WIN32_NT)
    {
      // Unicode 'W' functions
     }
else // Win9x 'A' functions

I removed the use of SHBrowseForFolderW altogether and now convert my
unicode strings to MBCS / SBCS before using the normal
SHBrowseForFolder (A variant) function.

Using Borland cpp Builder 5 the newly built app STILL complaints under Win95

Any ideas why this is the case ?

I still have some 'W' functions in the code (used conditionally only (>=
VER_PLATFORM_WIN32_NT))
Is it possible they cause this error still ?

(e.g. SHFILEOPSTRUCTW, SHFileOperationW, CreateDirectoryW, CreateFileW)
