Hello, I am trying to implement using Indy components a simple utility that will receive UDP data from a data transmission service. The transmission service simply sends UDP packets to a specific IP/port. It does not listen for or expect any type of query or response. The other end of the connection was not developed with Indy (not that that should matter, I wouldn't think). I'm not having any luck getting it to work using Indy components. I have no trouble making it work with Fastnet components but as I think Fastnet is not included with more recent versions of Builder, and we intend to upgrade in the not-too-distant future, I don't want to use Fastnet. I'm sure there is a simple solution to this, but can't figure out what it is. Any help as to what component(s) and methods I should use would be greatly appreciated. Dave Koens Canada
