Problem solved!   I uninstalled my version on Indy 9 and installed the 
latest version (18).  Whatever was causing the problem my have been 
associated with the earlier installation.  I didn't check the version #, 
but think it may have been 14.

Thanks for your help, though.  I should have thought of this earlier.
